About Us

Location(s)

Join us to support our club, to meet other riders, to share the experience and for the fun and adventure of the outdoors. Join us to make a difference.

Our club is family based with members from young to ancient who all enjoy getting out. We hold organized rides over the riding season, trying to ride in a different area each outing. Trail clean up and maintenance projects are ongoing as group or individual functions.

We encourage members to be proactive when out on the trails. Our membership works year round to maintain and develop trails and relationships. Whether you ride with a friend, a large group, or watch, we want you to enjoy your ATV EXPERIENCE.

Quad Squad Mission

The mission of the Quad Squad is to promote responsible use of Alberta's Southern Rockies, and to ensure the conservation and preservation of our wilderness areas for the continued use by those who come after us.

Who are we?

The Quad Squad Association was registered in 1997 under the societies act. Through its involvement in local and regional pursuits it has grown substantially, in both membership and recognition.

We are actively involved with the Crowsnest Forest Stewardship Society and club members participate in the annual Ed Gregor Memorial day in June each year. Members have participated in and presently sit on the Castle Education Committee. Our members work together with the Crow Snow Riders to groom and maintain trails in the Crowsnest forest area. We have assisted the Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Association in their trail identification and safety signage program. Many of our members have been involved in the East slopes policies and the Special Places 2000 processes, various access issues and trail mitigation and repair programs.

Our membership base is primarily families from through-out southern Alberta, from Calgary to Medicine Hat to Cardston and all points in between. Our Membership fees are $30 per family per year. Each member receives an information package including the Castle Access Management maps, a local trails map produced by The Economic Development Board, pamphlets from the Shifting Gears program, a schedule of events for the summer, 2 club decals and a newsletter.

Our riding areas include all of Alberta's Southern Rockies Region from Kananaskis country in the north to the U.S. border; and the British Columbia Border to the Porcupine hills. Our trails include the Castle designated trails and areas like Allison, Dutch Creek, and the Livingstone and Old man River drainage areas.

We feel we have a strong membership with defined goals and ethics which promote environmental stewardship and use of a sustainable trails system.
